Granular Activated Carbon WaterCarb 1000A for Water Treatment High Iodine Number American Standard

WATERCARB 1000A is a high quality granular activated carbon produced by physical activation (steam and heat) of selected charcoal. 

WATERCARB 1000A is particularly effective in the removal of organic contaminants such as pesticides, chlorinated and aromatic solvents, oils, colour bodies, phenols, tannin, taste and odour producing compounds and thrialomethane precursor. It can be used for the removal of excess of oxidant such as chlorine, ozone, h ydrogen peroxide and permanganate. 

WATERCARB 1000A is suitable for different applications such as purification of water intended for human consumption, process water and condensate stream purification, and wastewater treatment. 

WATERCARB 1000A it is used in purification and decolourisation process of chemicals and food stuff and in MEA and DEA purification. WATERCARB 1000A fulfils the standard UNI ISO EN 12915 Product used for treatment of water intended for human consumption – Granular Activated Carbon. When exhausted WATERCARB 1000 can be reactivated.
